New captain, same course: General Manager retires and succession announced

It is with particular emotion that we announce the retirement of our General Manager, François Adam. After 22 years of dedicated service and exemplary leadership, it’s time for him to take a well-deserved retirement.

Under his leadership, our company has undergone remarkable growth and transformation. François has guided our institute with unwavering determination and an infectious passion for innovation.

Here’s a personal testimonial from François on his journey and reflections, as he embarks on this new stage of his life.
“It was with a sense of accomplishment and at the same time some melancholy that I announced in the spring my decision to retire on June 30, 2024. I am grateful for the 22 wonderful years during which the electrification of transport provided meaning to my professional life, having had the pleasure of working alongside you to advance our ecosystem together.
I would like to thank you for the confidence you have shown in IVI over the past 25 years, and now that it is stronger than ever, I am confident that IVI will continue to help its ecosystem innovate even more.” – François Adam

At the same time, we are delighted to announce the nomination of Pier-Luc Laurin as IVI’s new General Manager!
Pier-Luc, who will be taking up his position on July 15, 2024, is a major player in the field of transport electrification for several years and has contributed to numerous structuring projects for the electric and intelligent transport (EIT) sector.
His ambition is to support the dynamics of vehicular innovation in the Laurentians and Quebec, and to accompany our ecosystem to new heights. He hopes to continue to develop and promote our institute among the companies in our ecosystem, our partners and IET organizations, both locally and on a wider scale.

With Pier-Luc in the driving seat, our team is confident of continuing along the path to innovation and success, while remaining true to our core values.
