A key event for the Battery and Innovative Transport sector in the Laurentians

On June 19, we took part in an important event for the battery industry and innovative transportation in the Laurentians, organized at the Cégep de Saint-Jérôme by Connexion Laurentides, in collaboration with Investissement Québec and the MRC de La Rivière-du-Nord.

The event brought together key industry players. Renowned companies such as Nova Bus, Nemaska Lithium, Northvolt North America, Génik and Lion Électrique shared their latest news, major projects and future needs. These exchanges provided a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the industry.

The event was also the opportunity for the Rivière-du-Nord MRC to present its new ” Innovative Transportation Laboratory Territory ” initiative. This initiative aims to transform the region into a true innovation center for electric and sustainable transportation.

The opportunity was also an excellent one for networking between the various players in the electric and innovative transport ecosystem. The enriching discussions our team was able to have revealed a palpable dynamism and growing mobilization around the battery sector.

The event not only provided an overview of the industry, but also confirmed the commitment and enthusiasm of all those involved in driving this promising sector forward.

A great success for the participants, of which we were a part, and a strong signal for the future of innovative transportation in the Laurentians!
