On June 18, we signed a strategic partnership agreement with another Centre collégial de transfert de technologie (CCTT), the Centre national en électrochimie et en technologies environnementales (CNETE), to pool our equipment and infrastructure for applied battery research. This collaboration, formalized by François Adam, General Manager of IVI, and Nancy Déziel, General Manager of CNETE, marks a significant step forward in supporting innovation and technological development for companies in the battery industry.
The signing of the agreement took place at a press conference organized by the Ville de Mirabel and Mirabel Économique, on the site of Avianor Inc. The event was also an opportunity for Annie Dell’Aniello, D. Ec., Director of Mirabel Économique, to unveil the city’s strategy for the Quebec Aerospace Innovation Zone. With the ambitious goal of becoming a world leader in sustainable and intelligent air mobility, Mirabel continues to demonstrate its unwavering support for local industries, consolidating its role as a regional hub for innovation.
Our partnership with CNETE aims to pool our applied research facilities, to offer companies more complete solutions and state-of-the-art infrastructures for their innovation projects. By joining forces, our two CCTTs will enable companies to achieve their technological development objectives more effectively.
This agreement also strengthens the links between the Quebec Aerospace Innovation Zone and the Energy Transition Valley, enriching the network of skills and technological resources available. This inter-zone collaboration promises to stimulate innovation and strengthen Quebec’s strategic positioning as a nerve center for technology and environmental sustainability.
We are proud of this step forward and confident in the benefits it will bring to companies and our entire innovation ecosystem.
